PROJECT: TrayTweet

I recently published a free Twitter system tray client called TrayTweet. While the code is not open source, I will post some of the highlights.

TrayTweet has a simple interface and brings most of the functions of the Twitter website to your desktop.

Why use TrayTweet instead of your browser?

  • You’re always logged in.
  • Sending a tweet takes only a couple of clicks.
  • Friend tweets are automatically refreshed.
  • It’s convenient!

Features

  • Persistent login
  • Update your status / tweet
  • View your timeline
  • View your friends’ timelines
  • View the public timeline
  • View your direct messages
  • View your replies
  • Send direct messages
  • Send replies
  • Follow / break friendships
  • All timelines are automatically refreshed
  • Minimizes to the system tray for quick and easy access!
